Windows 7 media player constantly updating library
I no longer want to sync the device in the player library. I do not know the steps, so I am facing the problem.
Windows Media Player is a popular software program for organizing and playing your digital music.
Step 2: In the left pane, click the Turn Windows features on or off option to see Windows Features dialog.
Step 3: Here expand Media Feature list and then uncheck Windows Media Player box.
When you open up the same music file from a different location, Media Player will think that it is a new song and will add it yet again to your library resulting in various duplicate entries.
But for some unknown reasons, Windows Media Player stopped working this morning. After messing with it around for a little while, I found reinstalling the WMP is the final solution as I was in a hurry.
If you too have a serious issue with Windows Media Player and want to repair it quickly, you can reinstall the program to fix it.
As you can see, if you move your music around a lot, such as after you organized the file structure, you can end up having duplicate entries in your Windows Media Player libary with some of the entires pointing to files that are now in a different location.
To fix this problem, you are going to want to compleatly remove the library file so that it can be automatically regenrated.
